Size & Fit

What size should I buy?

Start with our Size Guide and compare your body measurements with the chart.

If you are between sizes, use your hip measurement as an important reference for tights. If you still need help, contact ZANOS support before ordering.

What should I do if I am between two sizes?

If you are between two sizes, choose based on the fit you prefer and where your measurements fall in the chart.

Choose the larger size if your hip measurement is closer to the larger option or if you prefer a softer fit. Do not size down if the waistband rolls, the fabric becomes too stretched or the seams feel strained.

How should ZANOS tights feel when the size is right?

Secure, supported and easy to move in.

The waistband should remain flat. The fabric should follow your waist, hips and legs without cutting in, hanging loose or gathering around the crotch. You should be able to sit, squat and stretch without uncomfortable pressure.

The correct size does not always feel like the tightest size you can put on. Good support comes from the entire construction working together.

Will ZANOS tights roll down or slide during movement?

ZANOS tights are developed to reduce rolling and sliding by balancing the size, fabric tension and waistband structure.

Tights that are too small can be pulled downward by excessive tension across the hips. Tights that are too large may not have enough support to remain in place. This is why choosing the correct size matters just as much as the waistband itself.

When the fit is right, you should be able to squat, bend and walk without repeatedly pulling your tights back into position.

Why does the waistband matter so much to us?

The waistband controls more of the fit than most people realise.

If it is too weak, the tights can slide. If it is too narrow, it can roll. If it is too tight, it can dig into the waist and become uncomfortable when you sit or bend.

ZANOS focuses on wide, stable waistbands that distribute support across the waist. The goal is a waistband that feels secure and remains flat without needing to squeeze as hard as possible.

Which ZANOS tights should I choose?

Begin with the feeling and function you want.

Choose Scrunch Tights when you want greater definition at the back. Choose Seamless Tights when you prefer flexible support with fewer traditional seams.

Choose Yoga Tights for softer movement during yoga, Pilates and everyday wear. Choose Flare Tights when you want a close fit around the waist, hips and thighs with more freedom below the knee.

Each style has a different purpose. The best choice is the one that matches how you actually want to move and wear it.

Products & Care

Do ZANOS tights have a front seam?

No. ZANOS tights are designed without a traditional centre front seam.

This removes an unnecessary stitching line from an area where many women experience pressure, visible gathering or discomfort. The result is a smoother front that feels more comfortable during squats, stretching, seated exercises and everyday movement.

Correct sizing still matters, but removing the front seam solves one of the most common complaints women have about tights.

Are ZANOS tights squat proof?

ZANOS tests fabric coverage during squats, bends and deeper movement.

Reliable coverage depends on fabric density, colour, stretch and correct sizing. Even good fabric can become more transparent when it is stretched beyond its intended range, which is why choosing a smaller size for extra compression can create the opposite result.

Your tights should give you enough room to move without the material being pulled too thin across the hips.

Are ZANOS leggings see through?

What fabric composition do you use?

ZANOS products are developed with carefully selected performance fabric blends such as 75 % Nylon and 25% Spandex or 70% Polyester and 30% Elastane, depending on the product, fit and function.

We choose fabrics based on how they feel on the skin, how they stretch, how they recover after movement and how they perform over time. The goal is a smooth, supportive and comfortable fabric that keeps its shape without feeling stiff, heavy or restrictive.

Each product may have its own specific fabric composition, which is why the exact material blend is listed on the individual product page.

What does good fabric quality actually mean?

Good fabric should do more than feel soft when you first touch it.

It should stretch with your body, provide dependable coverage and return towards its original shape after movement. This ability to recover helps prevent loose fabric around the knees, hips and waist.

ZANOS selects materials according to the needs of each product. Softer fabrics work well for yoga and everyday movement, while firmer fabrics can provide more support during gym training. The exact material blend is listed on each product page.

What does double stitching mean?

Double stitching means selected seams are reinforced with an additional stitch structure to improve durability and stability.

For activewear, seams need to handle stretch, pressure and repeated movement. Weak stitching can affect both comfort and long term quality. Reinforced stitching helps the garment feel more secure and durable during wear

Why does stitching matter in activewear?

Stitching affects comfort, stretch, durability and how the product sits on the body.

A seam placed incorrectly can create pressure, restrict movement or feel uncomfortable. Stitch tension also matters. If the stitching is too tight, it can reduce flexibility. If it is too weak, it can affect durability.

That is why seam placement and stitch quality are part of our quality control process.

What is front comfort?

Front comfort means how the leggings feel at the front during movement and daily wear.

Many women are tired of leggings that create pressure, discomfort or need constant adjusting. We focus on smooth fit, flexible construction and comfort during movement so the leggings feel natural on the body.

Will ZANOS activewear keep its shape?

ZANOS evaluates fabric recovery, seam stability and shape retention before a product is approved.

Correct care is still essential. High heat, tumble drying and fabric softener can weaken the stretch fibres that help the garment recover after movement.

Turn your activewear inside out, wash it gently with similar colours and allow it to air dry. Follow the ZANOS Wash Guide and Activewear Care Guide to protect its fabric, waistband and fit.

How should I wash ZANOS activewear?

Turn your activewear inside out and wash it gently with similar colours. Avoid fabric softener and high heat, and allow the garment to air dry.

For complete care instructions, follow the ZANOS Wash Guide and Activewear Care Guide.

Can I tumble dry ZANOS activewear?

We recommend air drying your ZANOS activewear. High heat and tumble drying can weaken the stretch fibres and affect the garment's fit and recovery over time.

Can I wear ZANOS outside the gym?

Absolutely. ZANOS is created for movement, not one specific destination.

The same set can take you through strength training, yoga, Pilates, walking, travelling or an ordinary day when you want to feel comfortable and put together.

Pair your chosen tights with one of our Training Tops for Women to create a complete look you can wear long after the workout ends.

ZANOS Standards

What is ZANOS and why did we create it?

ZANOS is a Swedish activewear brand created for women who want more from the clothes they move in.

We were tired of products that looked good in a photo but rolled down, became uncomfortable or lost their shape once they were actually worn. Our purpose is to create activewear that feels secure, comfortable and easy to wear through training, movement and everyday life.

How does ZANOS choose which products enter the collection?

We do not add products simply to make the collection look bigger.

Every style must have a clear purpose and earn its place. We study the material, fit, waistband, seams, coverage and how the garment feels during real movement. If a sample does not improve the collection or solve a genuine need, we leave it out.

We would rather offer fewer carefully selected products than fill the store with pieces we do not fully believe in.

How is ZANOS activewear tested?

We test the details that become important after the first five minutes of wear.

That includes fabric coverage, stretch, recovery, waistband stability, seam strength, comfort and shape retention. We check how products behave during squats, stretching, walking, strength training, Pilates and longer periods of wear.

If the fabric becomes too transparent, the waistband moves too easily or the fit requires constant adjustment, the product is improved or rejected.

How do you test product quality?

This includes strength training, walking, running, pilates, longer movement sessions and everyday wear. We evaluate transparency, compression consistency, fabric recovery, waistband stability, seam durability, comfort, shape retention after washing, stretch adaptability and overall confidence during wear.

If a product does not perform well in real life, it does not launch.

What happens if a fabric fails testing?

We reject it.

Some fabrics feel soft at first but lose compression quickly. Some feel supportive but become uncomfortable after longer wear. Some look premium online but become transparent under stretch.

When that happens, we go back, improve and test again. We would rather delay a launch than release a product that does not meet our standard.

Why do you reject samples?

Because looking good is not enough.

A sample can fail because the fabric is too thin, the waistband rolls down, the compression disappears, the seams feel wrong, the fit is inconsistent or the product loses shape after washing.

Every rejected sample teaches us something and helps us improve the final product.

Are ZANOS products tested on different body types?

Yes. Fit can feel different depending on body shape, height and proportions.

That is why we test products on different body types before approving final production. Activewear should support the body, not fight against it.

Quality Over Quantity

At ZANOS, quality over quantity means we would rather release fewer products with a higher standard than create large collections that are rushed, untested or trend based.

Every product goes through fabric research, fit development, sample testing and quality control before approval. We evaluate how the fabric feels, stretches, recovers, moves and performs over time.

For us, sustainability starts with creating activewear people actually want to wear again and again. A product that keeps its shape, feels comfortable and stays in your wardrobe longer is always better than something that looks good once but quickly loses its value.

Responsible Manufacturing

ZANOS works with selected manufacturing partners instead of random mass produced products with a logo added afterwards.

Our focus is on controlled development, better fabrics, improved construction and responsible product decisions. We test samples, evaluate material performance and reject products that do not meet our quality standard.

For us, responsible manufacturing means not rushing products into the market before they are truly ready.

How does ZANOS think about sustainability?

We think sustainability should be practical, honest and connected to real product decisions.

That means creating products with better durability, avoiding unnecessary overproduction, rejecting weak samples before launch and focusing on activewear that customers actually want to keep wearing.

We believe sustainability is not only about one material label. It is also about how long a product lasts, how often it is worn and whether it still feels good after repeated use.

How does durability reduce waste?

When activewear loses shape, becomes see through, rolls down, feels uncomfortable or wears out quickly, people stop using it. That creates waste.

By focusing on stronger construction, better fabrics, shape retention and long term comfort, we aim to create products that stay in your wardrobe longer.

For us, durability is one of the most important parts of responsible activewear.

Where is your fabric from?

Our fabrics are sourced through selected manufacturing partners that specialize in technical activewear materials. We work with carefully selected factories in ASIA, where many advanced performance fabrics, seamless constructions and activewear production techniques are developed.

For us, fabric selection is never only about price or appearance. We evaluate each material based on how it feels on the skin, how it stretches, how it recovers after movement, how dense and supportive it feels, how well it performs under stretch and how it holds up after repeated wear.

Different ZANOS products may use different fabric blends depending on the intended fit, compression and function. That is why the exact material composition is listed on each product page.

Our focus is simple: the fabric must feel premium in real life, not only look good online.

Is ZANOS still improving?

Yes. Constantly.

Every collection teaches us something new. We listen to feedback, study how our products perform and continue refining future releases.

ZANOS is not built through hype. It is built through better fabrics, better testing, better fit, better comfort and long term improvement.
